Standby power · automatic transfer

When the grid drops, the house does not.

We install standby generators the way a home should: listed ATS, poured or precast pad, sized gas, and load-shed so the unit is not asked to run the whole world.

Scope

From permit to first weekly exercise

Standby generators

Air-cooled and liquid-cooled whole-home units, placed for exhaust, snow, and neighbor setbacks — not wherever the truck stopped.

Automatic transfer switches

Service-entrance and load-side ATS, labeled and tested. When utility fails, transfer is automatic. When utility returns, it transfers back.

Pad

Composite or poured pad to spec, level, and clear of downspouts. We do not set a generator on stacked pavers and hope.

Gas piping

Sized for lock-up and surge. New tap or upsized run, pressure test, and a shutoff you can reach in a coat and boots.

Load-shed

Priority loads stay up. Range, dryer, and the extra HVAC drop off in order so a right-sized unit covers what matters.

Exercise & service

Weekly exercise set, oil path, and a first-year check. A generator that never runs is a sculpture.

Why this name

The domain does the selling

  • hello@generatorcrew.com is the inbox a homeowner forwards to their spouse after a three-day outage.
  • Exact-match Google: people search “generator crew” when they want installers, not a big-box aisle.
  • Truck-door brand that reads as the standby team — gold on navy, no extra tagline required.
  • The page is already a generator contractor homepage a buyer can keep.
